The name
A Mayor, a Street, a Monogram
Bartels Street links Gouger and Wright Streets beside the Adelaide Central Market, named after Adolph Bartels, Mayor of Adelaide from 1871 to 1873. Our workshop stands on that street, and the name belonged to the city long before it belonged to us.
The monogram carries both halves of that story. The Adelaide Town Hall silhouette inside the B honours the city we serve. The road running through it is the journey back onto the road and on with your day.
For 40+ years, it has been one independently owned workshop, and it remains the city’s only dedicated repair centre.
